According to a Gartner study, by 2020, about 90 percent of companies investing in cloud computing will opt for the hybrid model, especially for infrastructure management.
In practice, companies will leverage their legacy systems and infrastructure and aggregate cloud solutions to leverage their technology capabilities. This will be done at a more intense pace and more consciously and strategically than they carry it out today.
The application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will be expanded
In the upcoming years, cloud computing will also drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence solutions and the creation of Machine Learning-based projects. This is because the storage and service creation capabilities will be significantly expanded.
According to Gartner, machine learning can be defined as “advanced machine learning algorithms composed by many technologies — from deep learning to natural language processing through neural networks — used in supervised and unsupervised learning that are guided by the lessons of existing information”.
However, Artificial Intelligence “is a technology that seems to simulate human performance typically learning, coming to its own conclusions, intending to understand complex content, engaging in natural dialogues with people, improving human cognitive performance.”
